Nằm trên đỉnh một ngọn đồi, trông ra một 'chiếc bát' đầy những bụi đỗ quyên, là một bức tượng Kannon hay Quan Âm Bồ Tát đầy ấn tượng. Bức tượng canh gác một khu vực thuộc về một ngôi chùa mang tên của chính bà, chùa Shiofune Kannon, ở thành phố Ome, Tokyo. Từ giữa tháng 4 đến đầu tháng 5, một lễ hội được tổ chức tại ngôi chùa 1300 năm tuổi này với 20.000 bông hoa đỗ quyên nở rộ.

A walking path runs around the upper rim of the 'bowl', and dirt trails wind through the azalea bushes.
This is the front gate of the temple. During the festival the entrance fee is ¥300.
On May 3rd, enjoy the blazing colors of azaleas and a real blaze, lit for monks in training who must walk across the fire.
To the left of the main hall is a building where souvenirs and snacks are sold. Try one of the tasty ice cream bars.
Fudo-myoo greets guests at the main hall of this Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect.
There is a small grass garden behind the main temple building where every visitor should sit for a few minutes (at least!) in order to truly take in the view.
