Futtsu Park is a large recreation area in Chiba Prefecture on a small peninsula reaching into Tokyo Bay. It offers you a fantastic view of the sea, and on clear days you can even see Mount Fuji. The park has a large waterfront area where you can watch windsurfers and enjoy the sound of waves. The inside of the park is like a forest with lots of pine trees partly bent from wind. Observation decks invite you to have a look from above.
From Aohori Station (Uchibo Line) you can either have a walk to Futtsu Park, which takes about one hour, or take the bus.
