Yokohama's expansive Sankeien garden is a stunning destination throughout the year, but many would argue that autumn is one of the best seasons to visit in. The grounds are home to numerous ginkgo trees and Japanese maples providing plenty of fall color, and this year the garden will be open in the evenings so that guests can appreciate them after dark.
The autumn illuminations take place from sunset until 7.30pm (last entries at 7pm) on the following dates:
- November 23rd (Thurs/Holiday), 24th (Fri), 25th (Sat), 26th (Sun)
- December 1st (Fri), 2nd (Sat), 3rd (Sun), 8th (Fri), 9th (Sat), 10th (Sun)
