Look up to find gentle lights wrapping around us

There is a totally different world stretching ahead on the other side of the round window

Nagasaki Lantern Festival. I'd never seen these lanterns lit up before.

Come to think of it, it's rare to see lit lanterns these days except for a special occasion like this

There are many photographers here and if you don't pay attention some of them will be in your photos, to your dismay!

２０１５年２月２１日から２泊３日で長崎ランタン・フェスティバルを訪れた！

以前より行きたくて仕方が無かった長崎の冬の風物詩！ようやく念願叶って、先日長崎を訪れた。そして先ず、真っ先にランタン・フェスティバルのメイン会場とも云える新地中華街会場の湊公園、関帝の祭壇に長い線香をあげた。当日の天候はあいにくの冷たい雨が降り続く！しかし濡れたランタンはより鮮やかな色彩の灯りを放つ！とても艶やかな光の祭典である。
