Internet sensation Pico Taro's infectious Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen hit is now getting its own cafe. Hot off the tail of the 45 second tune (now a Guinness World Record for shortest song in the US Billboard Hot 100), Tokyo Skytree is getting its own pop-up PPAP Cafe, which will be operating for a limited time between November 1st and 20th.

As well as a brightly coloured Pico Taro-esque shopfront, expect to see all manner of pen/apple/pineapple-inspired offerings, including pancakes and parfaits, alongside other original creations on the menu. Collectible coasters will be available to take home in one of 5 original designs.

Cafe details:

  • PPAP Cafe (@ Tree Village, TV Station Official Shop)
  • 4F Soramachi West Yard, Tokyo Skytree Town, 1-1-2 Oshiage, Sumida-ku, Tokyo
  • Hours: 9:00am–9:00pm

Not sure what all the fuss is about? Here's a brief recap:
