Running for almost 60 years now, the Sakaide Ohashi Festival is a multi-day summertime affair which boasts parades, dance performances, taikodai (taiko drum float) competitions, and a fireworks display to cap everything off with.

- August 4th (Friday): from 16:30 until 20:30 – food booths and stage events, outside JR Sakaide Station
- August 5th (Saturday): from 16:00 until 21:00 – Great Seto Bridge Parade, dance performances, and carnvial-style games, outside JR Sakaide Station, along Sakaide Ekimae-dori, and along Sakaide Shopping Street.
- August 6th (Sunday): from 18:00 until 20:30 – taikodai competition, in front of JR Sakaide Station
- August 11th (Friday): from 20:00 until 21:00 – fireworks display, Sakaide Port Central Wharf
